- Shortly before writing my Polaroid post, I got the itch to buy one of the original cameras. Thanks to the modern convenience of eBay, I quickly found a great deal on a near mint condition Polaroid SX-70.

- Sometime next year, Polaroid will stop producing instant film. This represents a huge blow to photography, but also a loss of one of our greatest visual metaphors.
